As promoter for SDC Productions since its inception in 1996, Mr. Peabody (aka Kelly Hertz) has always had an ear for great music.  While continuing to DJ since 1999, his primary focus was promoting SDC events and its DJs and bringing renowned and not-so-renowned acts to the ears of the electronic dance audience.  Mr. Peabody is taking his favorite sounds to the audience once again.  In the late 90s to early 2000, deep, tribal house music was his forte.  These days Mr. Peabody has gravitated towards funky glitch hop, breakbeat, and dubstep.

His glitchy, funky beats are sure to keep you on the dancefloor!

Superdave has been DJ'ing for 17 years in and around the Houston area. Since the first time stepping into a nightclub, he has been severely addicted to electonic dance music, as it flows through his veins day and night. At the age of 16, he and his friend DJ Trebblehook put their nickels and dimes together and bought the cheapest DJ setup around (we're talking belt driven tables!) and began mixing anywhere and everywhere he laid his head.  After getting the opportunity to begin playing for Scooby Doo Crew aka SDC  (of which he had grown up following their infamous events), he found an even bigger, newfound love for mixing, and has been known through the area as quite a mixologist.

His mix albums Funky Whomp Breaks, Spacefunk Whompathon, and Whompology, which have found their way into radios all over Texas, are sure to remain classics ten years from now. You are sure to experience an auditory awakening when seeing him perform, blending dubstep, breaks, drum and bass, drumstep, and often some old school rock and roll , rap , or eighties retro tunes that he grew up to. His heart will always be in the mix and in the scene in general, and if you have a chance to see him play, make sure you are prepared to get whomped up, as he will never disappoint.

In the late 90's a small town kid from Alvin TX. found a new way to understand what it means to belong.  After spending a short time in the scene, he knew that the music was the primary reason for the love, community, and acceptance of this new counter-culture and this story starts with house music.  Spending all day long at the record stores became an all-out obsession which led the way for the search for the new sound - an everlasting quest that opened other doors in the electronic music world like techno, trance, jungle, drum & bass and breakbeat.  After countless hours practicing his newfound skills on the turntables, he knew it was time to be heard. Getting a gig in those days wasn't an easy task - it took a lot of meeting the right people and a few demo cassette tapes before anyone would let a new DJ play.  An opportunity arose when the Scooby Doo Crew (SDC) put together a free beach party called Lovefest and it promoted a free for all environment for all locale artists to set up their own sound systems at the party. This was the chance he had been waiting for.  He teamed up with other locale DJs and friends to put together a sound system and a crew known as Grooveline Productions, which participated in the event 2 years in a row.  This also led him to his first real gig as the first DJ in the front room on new years eve 2000 at the Hangar.  Known as Dj So*Fresh at the time, a name he got off of a old from an old laundry mat in his home town, Dj So*fresh spent the next few years playing any gig that came his way including any gig that he could create with Grooveline.  It wasn’t until a new sound emerged called Dubstep that things started to take off for Dj So*Fresh, now calling himself DJ Treble-Hook, a name more suiting for a DJ that is as much into fishing as music.  In 2007, DJ Treble-Hook joined forces with SDC to be a part of the cause.  DJ Treble-Hook and his family (SDC) are still mixing and making the cutting edge sounds that have shaped an ever changing culture in H-town..

Based in Houston, "Turtle" has renown beyond TX as being an unorthodoxed and extremely effective cultural artist. His art form includes from-the-gate execution that involve well mastered coordinated efforts. Expect artfully done sets, with meaningfully robust history and a touch of that inner-city-Houston-Swank.

As a seasoned world traveler and historian of scenes, Turtle combines deep-rooted underground knowledge of varied musical art forms, as well as visual mediums & obtuse concepts, to create reality out of dreams. Sometimes viewed as controversial, his etiquette is rooted in honor, imagination, creativity, and loyalty. He's knowledgeable of many crews/entities with respect to their House-Rules, and helps promote and teach cultural awareness. Turtle genuinely appreciates and respects performance arts, philosophers, elders, burners, poets, and dreamers.

It is no longer especially relevant to ask, for example, what kind of "DJ" Mad Turtle is - when it becomes clear that his efforts have and continue to go far beyond that label.

Born and raised in Houston TX, J.Oddio has been intrigued by EDM ever since the first time he heard "Busy Child" by The Crystal Method off their Las Vegas Album. "I was 14 at the time and heard it on a commercial where a bunch of break dancers were getting down. All I could think was, ‘wow, this sounds pretty cool.'" A completely different sound than the rap/hip-hop and alternative/metal music he was accustomed to hearing, thanks to his older sister and her friends, he admits."I remember telling my 9th grade homeroom teacher that this was the kind of music I would like to create..."

Fast forward 5yrs to the Summer of 2004 and that very idea took it's first steps into action as he 1st laid hands on a pair of Technic 1200's and a mixer at a Traffic Crew(HTX) after party. Being surrounded by so many cool & open minded DJs that were willing to mentor, it was a matter of time before he was performing along side them at spots like Clark's on Main st. or the legendary SDC Warehouse on Keene st. (R.I.P.). His style at the time would include tracks he would love to dance to ranging from Breakbeats,Funk HOuse,Bangin'House,Disco house,Hard House,Trance(WTF?!Yes Trance), and DnB.

Unfortunately, turmoil and tribulations ,coupled with a slow and almost non existent EDM scene disrupted this tune like a drunken party goer bumping the needle off the record. Gloomy was the day he decided to put his only crate of vinyl up in the closet rarely to be used ever again only seeing the light of day when friends would have house parties every now and again.

During the next 2 years it was all about family and enjoying the parties rather than being apart of them. But it was during those 2 years that a small burn of passion would turn into an all out raging wildfire.

A new sound and influence had been introduced into his life courtesy of Kelly Hertz (SDC) and the Silo. Bass Chakra an underground party featuring Bassnectar ,for free ,was the party that single handedly reawakened the urge he once had to create music. Again, like the 1st time he heard Crystal Method, this was something new and fresh that he just wanted to learn more about. There was something about the psychedelic electronic sounds mashed together with hip-hop/broken beats and a fat bass line over it that was infectious.

Today that influence still holds strong, he likes to compare his style of mixing to the way he decides things, undecided, back& forth, not being able to decide on just one thing, and always willing to try something new. Variety is his spice of life and it definitely shows in his sets. When he takes the stage ,depending on the time slot, expect to hear GlitchHop,LazerBass, DnB, Drumstep,Midtempo breaks,Dubstep, some 4 on the floor action,IDM,Downtempo and mashes of Classic rock, alternative and Hip-hop/Rap. A firm believer of playing the right thing at the right time, you will catch him catering to the dance floor during peak hour sets or taking people on a ride to bliss during sunrise sets and even providing a soundtrack for peeps to nod their heads to during opening sets. On occasion though he has been known to try and demolish the spot when given an early timeslot.

With 7 years of Djing under his belt he's finally trying his hand at production; we'll see where that takes him.

INSERT CREDITS has been a DJ for 10 years and a producer for 6. He is the Bad News Bears of the Houston electronic music scene. As a DJ, INSERT CREDITS plays new and experimental tracks rather than drumming out the same tried and tested bangers over and over again. He's also not a play and pack DJ, you'll often find him still hanging around at 6am after the masses have already left.

INSERT CREDITS is in it for the long haul, and if you see him perform you will definitely remember it as something unique.

With a true passion for reggae and ragga influenced music, SDC's raggamuffin selecta presents a fusion of reggae dancehall, ragga dupstep and ragga jungle beats sure to get you moving on the dancefloor.
